As a huge advocate of the Fitaly keyboard, I don't see how Apple can have a patent for the sliding or swiping idea. It seems that Fitaly and other keyboards have used the sliding idea for many years prior to Apple submitting a patent. I really hope Fitaly is able to make their keyboard a universal input method and bring it to the masses. Apple is moving in the right direction for portable computers, but I hope other keyboard sliding methods will continue to innovate. If users of Fitaly have not read about Apple's "swipe-gesture" patent, look at CNET's article. Please make your finger sized board soon to remain strong in the market.
