I think the example of a slide that selects a given font is quite impressive! One thing I was wondering is how you navigate in the font color combobox to choose the right color? I found out that once you have selected the font and tab to the font color combobox, then doing down right left selects the black color and from then on, you can choose the color you want by issuing as many downs as necessary. Is that how you do it?
