Spend a little time looking for and practicing commonly used patterns of keystrokes.
The FITALY is laid out so that the most commonly used letters reside next to each other on the keyoard. This applies to 2-letter combinations such as:
"wh"
"th"
"ch"
"ou" and others.
Beyond this, it also applies to 3-, 4-, and 5-letter combinations of letters. Some common examples include:
"and"
"one"
"that"
"want"
"which" and others.
I found that my speed with the FITALY improved significantly by spending a few minutes looking for commonly used letter combinations and practicing them 10 times or so.
Try this for yourself. This is the same technique that typists and pianists use to improve their speed and accuracy, and it works equally well for the FITALY.
Happy tapping,
Robert
