This is good news. We know for a fact that 3.5 uses some apis that are in 2003 and not in earlier OS versions. We need to see why the installer scares away from WM2003.

Note also that you may want to download both installers since the exe installer installs the deskptop components. Actually, it also saves a copy of the cab files on the desktop computer. So, you could run the exe first and then follow your procedure using the cab file that is in

C:\Fitaly Pocket PC\Cabs\QVGA
