I have uninstalled, reinstalled, and repaired Word 2003 (in Vista) without success. I have also used the support.dot file to rename the normal.dot template. Nothing is working. Not only that, but if I were to delete all of the normal.dot files on my system and then restart Window, the program would not create a new Word file (how strange is that?)
I have the option checked to "Prompt to save normal.dot template," but whenever I exit Word it is not prompting me to save the file, any changes that I have made to the normal.dot file in a session don't stay.
I'm so totally frustrated right now. Any there ANY solutions for this problem.
