office/word 2003 update deleted Stedmans

I just downloaded some Microsoft updates for Office 2003 with security updates. Now all my Stedman dictionaries are gone. My words are showing up as misspellings. This happened right after I rebooted my computer after the upgrades so I am pretty sure that is what happened. I went back and removed as many of the upgrades as the system would let me. How do I get it back to working again. In my spelling option I have a custom dictionary set as default and nothing else.
Help please!
