Have you tried turning on nonprinting formatting marks

to see what may be hidden there? Toggle marks on/off with Ctrl + Shift + 8.

You may have an old field that has not been deleted. Fields can be toggled on and off with Alt + F9.

I have no experience with Swifttext so cannot offer any help there.
