You are right i am trying to learn 2 differnt versions. I have been using 97 for about 2 months now (my VERY old wp51 computer died and I needed to learn something in a couple of hours, and word 97 was all I had).

I purchased a new computer 2 wks ago with Word 2007, so would love to learn that version, but have to pay the bills so struggling through with what I know of 97, and in my free time trying to set up 2007.

Can anyone suggest a good Word 2007 book I could purchase. Last week I could not even open a document in Word 2007 with Vista. Hate it, but I am going to be taking a 2007 class, but would love to get a jump start reading about it. Can;t wait until I can pay it forward on this board and help someone else out.

Thank you Cheryl, and everyone else on this board. These last 2 mos have been a struggle switching from WP51 to MS Word and your support and suggestions have made all the difference. Could not have done it without all of your suggestions as well as your patience with my constant questions. My sincere thanks.....
