You're asking questions about two different versions of Word

so you need to specify which version when asking questions.

The cut/copy/paste is definitely on the right-click menu in 2007. Now you're asking about Word 97 and that version is so old that I don't remember what's on the right-click menu anymore. Sorry. You're also trying to learn two VERY different versions -- you'd be far better off to just stick with one version.

Why not just use the Ctrl + C for copy and Ctrl + V for paste? That shortcut works in all versions.
