Input area opening when it shouldn't

I am seeing this in all the third party programs I use. They are Chapura's Keysuite, Natara's Daynotez and Bonsai, and Ilium's ListPro.

In the case of Keysuite and ListPro (and sometimes Daynotez), when the input area comes up the programs screen doesn't resize to the smaller area with the result that the action buttons on the bottom of the 320 x 480 screen are covered and therefore cannot be accessed. Also the button on the status bar used to lower the input area doesn't work under these circumstances.

Also, I have found with Daynotez that when the screen does resize the buttons at the bottom of the screen "freeze" up and pressing them has no effect. Hope you can find an answer to this.
