Hello,

I changed all my age shortcuts as you described above but now when I type yo; I get nothing, not a space, not a blip, not a letter. I have no idea what I could have done wrong all I did was c&p what you posted. Has this happened to other users?

When you pull up your age entry, do you see {command}{backspace} in the advisories before your text? You can also manually create the entries by clicking on the Command button in the Edit Entry window and then pressing the backspace key. For more information on Command entries, please see pages 46-47 of the manual, or you can always contact tech support at 781-272-3200 and we can help you over the phone.

With decimals, I just can't switch glossaries so much within the same document, and I don't want to rely on autocorrect for fear I should change employers and platforms and then be out of luck having to learn yet another new system. I guess I'll just have to turn auto spacing off but that's frustrating.

You do not have to switch to the Decimals glossary, rather you can include it in with your base glossary. The best option as mentioned by Marianne is to set the spaces after a period to zero under Options/Automatic Spacing, or to toggle it off using the keyboard shortcut of Ctrl+0 (that is control zero)

Kind regards,
Kristen
