Magic period command workaround

Welcome back!

I just started training on ExSpeech. I noticed that I cannot keep IT open if I need to use Alt+N, because that command opens the Link Application window.

I guess it is with Alt. that you have the conflict while linked to ExSpeech.

The workaround is easy. You just create a command entry:
{command}{Alt.}_

and call it something easy to type as indicated in Jean's post below.
