No need to be so drastic--just set it to use XP SP2 compatibility mode

There's no need to disable UAC and remove a significant part of Vista's security model--just set Instant Text to run in Windows XP SP2 compatibility mode.

Right-click on the Instant Text program icon and choose Properties. On the compatibility tab, check the box to enable "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and then choose Windows XP (Service Pack 2) in the listbox.

It works with Word 2007 on Vista with this setting.
