I just wanted to comment here too. I was really worried about using IT with Vista b/c of things I had heard on the Career Step forums about it. However, I got a new computer & installed Office 2003 on it b/c I didn't want to upgrade to 2007 yet. I installed IT just fine & have been using it for a couple weeks now with no problems at all. I thought about posting this here before, but hadn't gotten around to it. Today someone posted to the CS forum about this thread & I just thought I'd let you know that at least one person has no problem with Vista using Office 2003. I know most people on the CS forum who were saying they had problems were trying to use Vista with Word/Office 2007, so I don't know if the "work around" works for Office 2007 or not. But I haven't had any problems with the Vista, Office 2003 combination.
After reading the "work around" closer, I just wanted to add that we turned off the user control security in Vista. I think I tried to use IT before we disabled it & I think it still worked, but I'm not positive b/c we disabled it the 2nd day we had the new computer.
