I own three Palm devices myself. I think I bought Fitaly for the first (one of the PalmPilots), scored the free release for Palm Zire, and Fitaly doesn't seem to work on my WristPDA? (Unless I cheat!!!!)
(It also takes tremendous determination, short sight and a toothpick. That wrist-thing is s m a l l.)
And you could remote-control your PC from the Palm version of Fitaly, but that's a project I still haven't done more than think about! (Forget the Palm emulator on PC - it isn't licensed for application use!)
As for getting onto Microsoft's Web site... do you have to pay for the privilege?? I imagine that Microsoft would want to cover all the alternate input methods - or not at all, since Tablet PC and UMPC have input built-in - that funny two-thumbed double Qwerty wheel arrangement they're touting now, plus speech and handwriting. An alternative-input market indicates that Microsoft's own offerings aren't satisfactory; that isn't a message that they would want to give.
Having said that, I can see a market for Fitaly without typing, only symbols, as an add-on to Microsoft speech, if the matter of synchronisation of speech and tap could be fixed. If I say "Seven stripped grommets" and then tap out "@ $14.75", it's liable not to come out in the right order. So discounted number/symbol-only Fitaly - maybe with the alphabet only typing into a clipboard buffer instead of applications, or into the newly promised FitalyLetris, or limited in some other ways, and with a limited slide repertoire - could be sold as "Tablet PC Puncture Kit".
I have slides from the 1-0 punctuation bar for function keystrokes F1-F10, so we could even make it Functure Kit! No, too geeky!
