Some of the positive points the discussion brought:
BobbyNash: we should update the link that is currently on the Windows 3.1 Fitaly to point to the Fitaly 4 version.
Yester: as it is, without adding more features we could start selling this version (Emmanuel disagrees and would like to add a slide editor).
Robert Carnegie: What makes a product sell is the "perceived value" customers see in it. So this is an area where we should behave responsibly, decide a price and not ask for advice on price. If it ends up not selling, it would always be time to send a marketing survey asking you: If the price were $100 instead of $200, would you buy a second one for your sister? :-)
Clients will decide what value they perceive in Fitaly 4 and we can help them by developing examples, comparisons and marketing data.
For example, there are only two input methods on the Tablet PC market that provide an input method and a macroprocessor:
(1)Calligrapher + PenCommander
(2)Fitaly4
The first solution costs $75
The second, for the time being, will stay at the current $39 price.
