Firefox's relationship to TIP comes up regularly at Tablet PC Buzz. One or more remedies are offered. Link below.

My plan was to track clicks and the I-beam mouse cursor, which has recently been made easier (or safer) in AutoHotkey macros. However, this wouldn't do it for Remote Desktop Connection - evidently you don't get a "real" caret. There, a secondary program could be used to receive input from Fitaly and then paste to the alternate application - a modified Click-N-Type will do that.

You can also program the Fitaly keyboard into Click-N-Type, but then it can't keep up with text entry - taps go missing. It's probably okay with Qwerty layout slowing you down!

I do have a notion for a cut-down CNT with only the text input box and cut/copy/paste/send keys, although I think they'd have to be Ctrl and Shift and the letters, or Ins/Del.

Of course Fitaly could attach to CNT immediately (with a little macro magic) instead of waiting for you to find the TIP icon.
